The Company was established in 2013 by Ghazi Khder Jezdin and Patrick Solrunarson. As of August 2024, Cares employed approximately 500 employees across its six divisions located in the broader Oslo region and southwestern Norway.

The headquarters is in Tønsberg, Norway.
